James Harris is a Brisbane-based photographer known for capturing authentic moments with a refined, storytelling approach. With years of experience behind the lens, his work is driven by a simple philosophy: to preserve meaningful memories with honesty, depth, and timeless style.

His journey into photography began in 2017 while serving in the Australian Defence Force, where weekends were spent immersed in nature and wildlife photography. What started as a personal creative outlet quickly evolved into a disciplined pursuit—leading to the sale of fine art canvas prints and recognition through photographic competitions.

Following his military career, James expanded his craft in Brisbane, refining his technical expertise and developing a signature style grounded in natural light and genuine connection. He began working closely with businesses, creatives, and couples—producing striking portraits, modelling portfolios, and engagement sessions that balance professionalism with personality.

Today, James brings that same intentional approach to his new found love - wedding photography, where he focuses on capturing not just how a day looks, but how it feels. James is new to wedding photography but he understands the important things. The first looks, the family tears, the grooms cheeky smile and all those quiet moments leading up to the walk down the isle. His work blends candid storytelling with carefully composed imagery, creating photographs that are both emotionally resonant and enduring.
